Introduction to Massage with your Child
Lovingly created by myself and my own children, this unique class provides a special time for you and your child to spend quality time together and to reap the benefits of positive touch in a fun and relaxed way. Incorporating simple relaxation tools and calming massage techniques to support and connect with the nervous system. Set within a very special space just 10 minutes from the heart of Godalming; offering a mini respite from your busy life.
Suitable for children aged 6-11 years, along with a parent or carer. An ideal introduction to massage with your child and a great way to see what it's all about before trying Sensory Story Massage classes. You and your child will share the magic of massage to enhance your connection and support your wellbeing.
Introducing positive touch in a fun and engaging way helps to promote self-awareness, relaxation and greater self-esteem, as well as encouraging kindness, respect and sensitivity. Massage Therapy techniques are taught in a very simple way, to support you and your child to feel calm, present and connected.
There is no need to remove any clothes or use any oils, creams or balms. Most importantly, the class will be an opportunity for you and your child to enjoy dedicated time together, to enhance your connection and special bond. Groups are kept small to maintain a safe, relaxed space and you will only pair up with your own child.
