A Little Bit About Me

I'm an experienced holistic massage therapist & reflexologist, practising in this field of work for the whole of my adult life. I work with women one-to-one, as well as supporting parents to enjoy the benefits of massage therapy for their children. I'm passionate about the benefits of good quality massage therapy to support our wellbeing. The majority of my therapy work involves providing a supportive, holistic approach to pre-conception and pregnancy for women, as well as during the postnatal period. I have pursued extensive training and studies in this area and in 2024, I achieved my Wellmother Pregnancy Massage diploma with distinction - this is one of the most prestigious pregnancy training qualifications in the world and I am delighted to bring the knowledge and wisdom I gained here to the treatment room.

I am the proud owner of the Green Retreat - a dedicated treatment space based just outside of Milford in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Surrounded by open fields, seasonal flowers, a lot of singing birds and our resident deer family.

I pride myself on offering you effective treatments, authentic guidance and dedicated time for yourself. My approach to my work blends science-based principles, ancient wisdom and a little intuition. I take great care and attention when sourcing all the little extras that make your time here special - from the organic herbal tea blends to the meaningful artwork and the highest quality organic and sustainable therapeutic oils. All Gift Vouchers and their boxes are fully recyclable and are lovingly hand-wrapped and written to order.

I love simplicity and strive to carry that through to this amazing work that I love - nothing more than the gentle power of massage therapy and beautiful organic oils. I believe that taking opportunities for calm, care and positive touch in a serene environment where time seems to slow down for just a short while is one of the best things we can do to support our wellbeing in a fast-paced world.

My two young children enjoy their own daily massage and reflexology treatments. This provides a wonderful bonding experience for us all, as well as supporting their vital physical and emotional development.

I support gentle parenting practices and this blends seamlessly between my personal life and the nurturing techniques I teach to you for your own children. I am passionate about my work and thoroughly enjoy meeting new and diverse people, providing guidance and sharing in their experiences.

Over the 20 years since I carried out my first massage treatment, I have helped thousands of people at all stages of their life to achieve greater calm, tranquility and balance in their lives and I look forward to doing the same for you too - either in person in my treatment room or through the self-help tips that I share in my blogs and newsletter for you to use at home.

I hope to see you soon!

My Career in Massage Therapy

It all started in 2008 when I began my career working at Champneys spa resorts before moving to London where I formed part of the first elite therapist team at Liz Earle's flagship Sloane Square therapy rooms.

In 2010, I decided to start up my own business and this is what I have done ever since! I love to learn and have completed various additional training courses over the years to refresh and update my skills and maintain my interest in the world of complementary therapies. I worked full-time until 2016 when I became a mother and I returned to teaching baby reflexology classes with my baby daughter as my demonstration model! For the past few years, I have continued to grow and develop my business alongside raising my two children.

For a long time I worked from treatment spaces within complementary therapy clinics. As a family we relocated twice, which meant starting up my business from scratch 3 times. Now very much settled in Godalming, we have no plans to move anywhere. In 2022, my long-term dream of designing my own treatment space came to fruition with the creation of the Green Retreat - my dedicated garden treatment room in the beautiful Surrey countryside.

Alongside my day-to-day work here, I sometimes head out and about and I have enjoyed opportunities providing self-help wellbeing workshops for teenagers in schools, self-massage for busy Mums and Story Massage for nursery children.

I continue to learn, refresh and enhance my skills through continuous professional development and advanced training courses to bring you the  highest quality therapies and support.
