Join a calming evening inspired by Autumn hygge - think warm drinks, cosy blankets, twinkly lights and delicious comforting snacks - to soothe your senses while learning simple and effective massage and reflexology techniques to support your child and nurture yourself.

After a busy day, around significant life events (e.g. new school, new sibling) and during times of emotional upheaval, your child may find it hard to unwind and relax. Sometimes this presents as unwanted behaviours, aggression or restraint collapse. Taking time to connect with your child at suitable times during the day or evening can help them to regulate their emotions in a healthy, safe and appropriate way and will enhance the bond between you.

Positive touch techniques offer an incredible way to connect with your child, support their sense of comfort and security, soothe their nervous system and aid emotional regulation.

Supporting your child through their ups and downs may leave you feeling out of balance, emotionally unsettled, anxious, frustrated or sad.

Take the evening off and immerse yourself in the calm and tranquil supportive space of the Green Retreat. Experience the benefits of your new techniques, alongside guided relaxation and Q&A.

By the end of the session, you will know:

  • How to confidently massage your child safely, effectively and respectfully.
  • A 10-minute sequence of techniques to use with your child.
  • How to look after yourself physically and emotionally when practising massage.
  • The many benefits of sharing massage as a family.
  • How to incorporate positive touch into your day and/or evening routine.
  • Ways to support your child with transitions, emotional regulation, calming, unwinding, hyperactivity, anxiety and building connections.

Suitable for parents of children of any age.

Limited spaces available to maintain a sense of calm and relaxed cosiness!
